I typically teach courses related to cell biology and microbiology. See below for brief descriptions of my classes.
An introduction to cellular biology and genetics. A course for biology majors and others who need upper-level biology courses. Previously GBIO151.
A substitution for the BIOL152: General Biology Laboratory I, currently being offered to Honors students. A semester-long project to isolate and characterize viruses that infect bacteria found in soil. Previously GBIO203.
A lecture/lab course designed to introduce students to the variety of subcellular organisms. Lecture investigates a single virus from each Baltimore class. Labs teach virological methods using bacteriophages as model organisms. Previously MIC463.
