Understanding our work
I primarily utilise a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Flash Technique in my work, depending on your goals and presenting concerns. Both approaches are gentle, body-centered, and trauma-informed methods that support compassionate healing and processing of all types of trauma and other emotional concerns.
I support individuals struggling with a variety of concerns, including complex trauma, negative self-image, academic challenges, depression, anxiety, work performance, expat challenges, spirituality, career choice, decision-making, relationship conflicts, and attachment styles. See this page for more information.

Getting started & what to expect
Sessions are a full 60 or 90 minutes in length, depending on your communication style and whether you would prefer a more spacious session.
How often we meet is completely up to you. Most clients choose to meet once a week, especially when therapy begins, to provide consistent support and build momentum. Depending on your needs, we might also meet bi-weekly, or more frequently (e.g., twice a week) during intensive periods.
The length of therapy really depends on your personal goals, your history, and the depth of the healing you're seeking. Some clients experience meaningful shifts in just a few sessions or within a couple of months—especially when working on specific goals or when there's been some experience of safe attachment in the past. Others choose to stay longer, either to explore deeper layers of trauma, or to continue growing in self-awareness, relationships, and inner harmony.
IFS therapy, in particular, honors the complexity of our internal world. Trauma often has many layers, and it takes time, trust, and a felt sense of safety to reach the parts of us that carry the most pain and burden. For some, it's enough to work in the upper layers and change can happen quickly. For others, the journey is slower and more spacious, allowing time to uncover what's hidden beneath. These deeper layers often hold not just pain, but also inner wisdom, connection, and surprising possibility.
Research and clinical experience consistently show that online therapy provides excellent results for a wide range of concerns, and can be just as effective as meeting in person. In fact, some of the benefits of meeting virtually include flexibility with your schedule and where you meet, which means therapy can fit into your life, not the other way around. This is a huge plus for folks in remote areas or places where it's tough to find therapy in English. You might also find a greater sense of comfort and psychological safety being in your own familiar space. Lastly, you can continue care even when you're traveling, moving, or going through other big life changes.
We'll meet securely via Zoom, and you'll receive the link for each session in your Google Calendar invite. To ensure you get the most out of our time, please find a private and quiet space where you won't be overheard, and turn off notifications on your computer and phone. It's also a good idea to have water and tissues nearby.
