Google Authenticator Enrollment
Google Authenticator Enrollment
What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and why is it important?
Google Authenticator 2FA is an extra layer of security used to protect your work account as well as our customer’s personally identifiable information.
2FA works by ensuring users have two pieces of information before they are able to gain access to a system such as Google. These two pieces of information include a username/password combination and another piece of information such as a one-time passcode from a text message or a code from an app that has been downloaded and installed on your phone.
2FA Authenticator makes hacking your account more difficult.
At SelectQuote, we use 2FA for signing in to Google, OpenVPN, and the Self-Service Portal.
