How To: Turn off Samsung Monitor Auto-Detect

The following steps are specific for the S22E450D and S22E450B model 22" Samsung monitors,
however most Samsung monitors have this feature that can be shut off.

Please locate the external buttons either on the front panel of your monitor, or on the back side.

These buttons will allow you to change the monitor settings following below.

Press any buttons (1-5) on the front of the product to open the Key Guide.

Press button 1 to open the Menu.

Press buttons 2 & 3 to navigate to the "Cog" Icon (Setup & Reset). Press button 4 to enter the menu.

Scroll down to "Source Detection". Press button 4 to select "Source Detection."

Press button 4 to select "Manual".

Repeat as necessary for second monitor if applicable.
