Band Specific Fee Breakdown

The annual Band fee for all members of the Barnes Band is dependent on the group they are in.  These range mainly from the varying performance fee and associated activities.  This fee is per school year (August-May).   Trip fees can be lowered or paid off through fundraising opportunities by the Barnes Band Boosters and our Fall Fundraiser.

Miscellaneous Fees

Beginner Band students are required to have a Toreador Band Shirt as part of the Beginner Band performance uniform.  Shirts can last through 8th grade or may be purchased at any time.  Family members and friends are able to purchase shirts as well!

Foundations for Superior Performance "Blue Book" ($7)

Required for all 7/8th grade advanced students, minus percussion.

Flip Folder ($20)

Required for all 7/8th grade advanced students, minus percussion.

UIL Tuxedo Shirt ($20)

Required for all 7th grade advanced students.  8th grade students 

who have outgrown theirs may purchase another shirt. 

School-Owned Instrument Rental

This only applies for students that are renting a Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Horn, F-attachment Trombone, Euphonium or Tuba.  The instrument rental fee is $60 per yer/every year. You may make the payment all at once or in payments.
