Abstract submission

Call for Abstracts: 

The 16th SEGJ International Symposium will be held from September 27 to 30, 2026, in Sapporo. The symposium aims to provide an international forum for researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present and discuss recent advances, emerging technologies, and future perspectives in Exploration Geophysics. 

We cordially invite the submission of abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations from researchers and professionals worldwide.

• The submission site will open on February 27, 2026. 

• The deadline for submission will be April 27, 2026.

Submission Guidelines

• Abstracts should be written in English.

• A one-page short abstract with one graphic or figure is required for each submission.  The template will be available soon.

• All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed to decide whether they will be accepted or rejected.

• When submitting their abstracts, authors will be asked to choose between oral and poster presentations. However, this choice is not guaranteed, as the Technical Committee will decide on the program based on reviewers' comments.

• Authors should select a combination of a section (application area) and a technical topic, which will be taken into consideration when creating the program.
