George Theodoroulis is entering his Second year as the director of bands at Sealy High School. Before his time at Sealy, he served as the Associate Director of Bands at Corsicana High School. His responsibilities included conducting the CHS Non-Varsity ensemble, leading the marching band, teaching the color guard, and teaching beginner classes at Collins Intermediate School. Mr. Theodoroulis also served as the school’s marching band show designer. His responsibilities included storyboarding the show, selecting and arranging the music, designing the props, writing the choreography, and assisting with the color guard costume and equipment design.
Mr. Theodoroulis grew up in Athens, Greece, and moved to Katy, TX in the summer of 2010. While in secondary school he learned trombone and euphonium, and began composing his own music in high school. He attended the University of North Texas to study music composition, but switched his major after finding a passion for teaching. He was a founding member of the Beta Gamma Omega Beta Chapter, and holds memberships in the Texas Music Educators Association, Association of Texas Small School Bands, and Texas Bandmasters Association. Mr. Theodoroulis has also taught on a number of drum corps staffs, including the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps brass staff, and Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps visual staff.

Director of Bands: Sealy Junior High
Reuben Brown is entering his second year as the director of bands at Sealy Junior High. Prior to joining the staff in Sealy, he worked in both Crowley ISD and Klein ISD. He has taught successfully in both districts, assisting with the Krimmel Intermediate Band’s performance at the Midwest Clinic in 2022, as well as receiving Sweepstakes with the Concert Band, and helping to take the Crowley Middle School Symphonic Band to a successful varsity Sweepstakes.
Prior to his time teaching, Mr. Brown graduated from Texas State University where he studied horn under Dr. Caroline Steiger and Dr. Rusty Holmes. Through his time at in college, Mr. Brown performed in every level of concert band available, finishing his time performing with the Texas State Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. He also enjoyed performing in various small ensembles, namely the Texas State Horn Choir. Mr. Brown is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and the International Horn Society, as well as an alumnus of the Gamma Phi chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Color Guard Director
Hannah Gibson is a Sealy native. She has roots that run deep in our small town. This will be her second year serving as our Colorguard Director and her first official year as an English teacher at Sealy Junior High. She has years of performance, dance, flag work, and weapon use experience. She is excited to give back to the community that helped shape her.
During her first year as our Colorguard Director, she took her team to their first Spring Colorguard Solo and Ensamble Contest. The team scored superior ratings on all of their performances. She is passionate about all things music and flags! She is looking forward to an impactful year with the Sealy Tiger Band!
