TP Alum Grace Trupe Earns CCC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Western New England University sophomore goalkeeper Grace Trupe (Cardiff, Calif.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week for field hockey, the league office announced yesterday. (more) Trupe collected 15 saves with a 1.00 GAA in a 1-1 week for the Golden Bears. In a 2-1 setback against Endicott, the sophomore turned in 12 saves. In a 3-0 win over Roger Williams, she had three saves for Western New England.
