· Tony Hawk Foundation has donated more than $3.2 million to more than 450 skatepark projects throughout the United States. The foundation helps finance public skateparks in low-income areas, providing a safe place to skate and helping young skaters from Marathon, Florida, to Sitka, Alaska, build their self-confidence. Skateparks that received financial assistance from the Tony Hawk Foundation currently serve more than 3 million young Americans annually

John Lynch

· Received first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference honors as a senior at Stanford University

· One of the most decorated players in NFL history as evidenced by nine Pro Bowl selections, including four consecutive trips to Hawaii from 1999-2002 and 2004-07, along with four Associated Press All-Pro recognitions, including two first-team selections from 1999-2000

· Owns nine seasons with at least 90 tackles and is fourth in tackles (1,057) by NFL defensive backs since entering the league in 1993.

· Leads all active NFL defensive backs and is third among all current players with 191 career starts in the regular season.

· Extremely active in the community through the John Lynch Foundation and in 2006 received the Bart Starr Award and Byron "Whizzer" White Award honoring his off-the-field efforts.

· Established the John Lynch Foundation in 2000 with a mission to develop quality young leaders through its community programs… Those programs include the “John Lynch Star of the Month,” a student-athlete recognition program; the “Lynch Family Legacy Scholarships,” which provide financial assistance to area high school student-athletes who exemplify excellence in academics, community service and athletics

· Started the “John Lynch Celebrity Golf Classic,” which began as a partnership with his brother-in-law and former NFL player, John Allred (the event has raised more than $1 million dollars for the San Diego community and has resulted in a new Boys & Girls Club branch)
