If there were any doubts about the Torrey Pines High girls volleyball team being ranked No. 1 in the nation before the season, there shouldn't be now.
Playing in the prestigious Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas, the Falcons backed up their top spot in the PrepVolleyball.com poll by defeating No. 2 Louisville Assumption 25-22, 14-25, 25-16 in the championship match Saturday night.
