Torrey Pines senior wins San Diego Section golf title (by Glae Thien)

Just to play in the San Diego Section boys golf tournament, Torrey Pines High senior Isaac Rodea had to win a four-way playoff for the last spot on the defending state champions’ roster.

Rodea then followed up by winning the individual title with a 15-foot birdie putt on his last hole to finish with an 11-under-par 133 over two rounds at Admiral Baker North on Wednesday. (more)
