Lacrosse sticks, gloves and helmets were strewn across the field as Torrey Pines players made a mad dash for goalie Bobby Gavin. Limping to join the party, one leg confined to a brace, was injured Falcon Mason Kohn.

Cried Kohn, “It’s such an easy game!”

It may not have been easy, but the Falcons certainly demonstrated their play can be a thing of beauty as Torrey Pines defended its San Diego Section Open Division boys title, defeating rival La Costa Canyon 12-4 on Saturday night at Del Norte High. (more)
