Hummingbird Kits

To code the pigeons hand, I used the dial sensor and rotation servo. First, I added a "if then else" block and the "if button B is pressed" block. This made it so that the pigeon's hand would only start moving when the B button is pressed. Inside the "if then" block, I added another "if then else" block. Inside that I added a "Dial greater than 50" block and a "Rotation servo 25%" block. This made it so the pigeon's hand would go towards him if we turned the dial sensor right and would go away from him when we turned it left.  ~PTMS Student

For the final project, me and my partner built a moving book cover. To do this we used cardboard, paper, hot glue, tape, paint, clay, and markers. We also used the dial sensor and the rotation servo. 

First, we molded the pigeon, its hand, and the chick. Then, we painted the parts and a cardboard square of the dimensions 6.5 to 6.5. We also drew and decorated the cardboard to resemble the book.

After we finished creating the parts, we assembled the pieces together. To do this, I drilled a hole in the cardboard where I connected the pigeon's hand and the rotation servo. I then taped the rotation servo to the cardboard  and added the pigeon's body by elevating it above the hand, so the two parts wouldn't interfere.  ~PTMS Student
