Curren Martin - President

Curren Martin (she/her) is a senior and absolutely honored to serve as your President of troupe 2196! She has performed in The Play That Goes Wrong as Sandra, SpongeBob the Musical as Electric Skate 3, The Queen's Guard as Julianne, Puffs as The Narrator, Emma as Harriet, and Matilda as Mrs. Wormwood! This theater program has introduced her to such an incredible community and she's so grateful for the fun, wonderful memories she has and will continue to create here! 💕

Maya Faris is so grateful to the theater for all the joy and friendships it has given her and is honored for the opportunity to pay it back to the club! Since freshman year, she has been a part of The One Act Festival, Queens Guard, Emma, and Matilda, each giving her a unique and incredible experience. She cannot wait to discover what this year has in store! She is dedicated to doing the club justice as this years vice president and hopes to spread the joy of theater throughout the school!

Mary Grenda (she/her/hers) is absolutely stoked to be this year’s Thespian Troupe 2196 Secretary. Mary is an avid fan of all things technical theater, and has found her passion for stage management during her time at SDA. She has served as an assistant stage manager since her freshman year, and is beyond excited to close out her high school theater career as a stage manager. She is endlessly grateful for the family she has found in the theater, and cannot wait for the memories this year will bring!

Lucia Pederson (she/they) is so incredibly excited to serve thespian troupe 2196 as its treasurer! They have participated in both actor and tech aspects of the theater, most recently acting as Leanne in Puffs, Student directing and ASMing for Emma, and performing as Eric in Matilda the Musical. She is so grateful for all the memories and bonds that she continues to make as a member of SDA’s theater community and can't wait to meet all upcoming thespians! <33
Scout Hoppas - Public Relations

Scout Hoppas (she/her) is a junior and delighted to serve as Public Relations for Troupe 2196! She enjoys doing theatre both in and outside of school, with her favorite roles at SDA including Sally in Puffs, and Lavender in Matilda. Also at SDA, she is an active member of both Comedy Sportz and JNHS. In her free time, you can find Scout reading a book or listening to music (often theatre related). She looks forward to leading the troupe with her amazing friends! 🥳💝
