Anna Forsberg (she/her) is a Postpartum Doula, a wife and mother to three children, ages 13, 9 and 7, who are entering their third year at the Co-Op. Her favorite things are chai tea, chocolate, house plants, a meal enjoyed with friends, playing board games with her family and talking about all things postpartum with no shame or judgment.  Anna is passionate about community building and is looking forward to applying her particular set of skills to support the Co-Op.

I’m a San Diego native, taco lover, camping enthusiast, and bread baker. I’m a university administrator turned stay at home parent of two boys. My children are in the lower grades of SDCCS, 1st grade and 3rd grade.  This is our third school year at SDCCS, and it feels like a warm hug every time we step on campus.  As your PSA Treasurer, my goals are to support and appreciate our campus staff, bring to life the amazing ideas of our parent community, and to make new friends along the way.  Please reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or silly-off-the-wall ideas. We just may be able to turn that silly idea into the most amazing campus event, with the help of a committed volunteer community. If you see me on campus, please be awkward by stopping me to say hi.  That’s why I’ve shared my photo, so you can recognize who I am.

I felt fortunate to join the SDCCS community in 2010 as a teacher and have always loved and believed in our mission, philosophy, and community. My four kids now attend the Co-op and I am beyond grateful to be a part of the school. As the Communications Coordinator, I hope to help everyone stay informed about and connected to the events and opportunities at SDCCS. Our phenomenal program is reliant on families reaching out and finding the way they can best support the school. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Hi My Name is Kim Cowgill, I have 2 kids that attend SDCCS a 6th grader and 3rd grader. I also work in the classroom for extra support. I have lots of volunteering experience between schools and military community. I am super excited to be part of this team. Some of the things I love to do is play kickball, roller skating with the kids and also going on random adventures with the kids. I enjoy vanilla lattes and chocolate!

I am a parent of two children at the school: Gabriel in first grade and Abigail in seventh. I volunteer often in the classroom, where the kids know me as Mr. Adam. In my regular job, I am a scientific writer. I enjoy hiking, ramen, and chess. I am excited to be part of the PSA as liaison to the Board of Directors. Parents play an integral part in making our school great. I welcome your thoughts and comments. 

Ms. Nicolette: 

Ms. Jo (she/they): This is my third year serving on the PSA. I have a fourth  grader at SDCCS and a seventh grader who attends an NPS. I have my doctorate in clinical psychology and in the past have provided counseling services from grade school all the way through college and graduate programs. In addition to being the staff representative on the PSA, I am also the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Instructor at SDCCS.
