Welcome to the Springdale Pre-K Program
About Us:
Springdale Public Schools Pre-K program has been open since 2004. We currently have 45 pre-k classrooms across the Springdale School District. We have one Pre-K center with 11 classrooms at that location, the Early Childhood Center. The other 34 classrooms are located in 16 of our elementary schools.
In our Pre-K program, children gain important exposure to numbers, letters, and shapes, while also developing social and emotional skills that prepare them for success throughout their educational career. With a certified teacher in each classroom, students are taught conscious discipline, a curriculum that teaches social and emotional behaviors such as how to get along with other children, how to share, and how to contribute in an educational environment. Students participate in play-based learning and are encouraged to have a voice and a choice.
