About Mrs. Murray

Dear Kindergarten Families,

My name is Kathryn Murray. I have been the Kindergarten Interventionist for School District 73.5 since February 2019. I have been teaching for over 12 years and have taught preschool through second grade. I have also spent time as a special education teacher for the elementary grades. I am looking forward to working with you this year to ensure your kindergarteners success and development.

I moved with my family to the Chicago area in November 2017. Prior to moving to Chicago we lived in Cleveland, Ohio and Denver, Colorado. My husband and I are both originally from Michigan and we still spend a lot of time there visiting our family. I have three children, Benjamin (6), Margaret (4) and Amelia (1). We love to spend time outside, read books, and visit the museums around Chicago. Our favorites are Lincoln Park Zoo, Brookfield Zoo and Shedd Aquarium.
