Fees and Costs

Many courses include opportunities for students to undertake optional projects or participate in field trips. Where students choose optional activities, they must pay for materials, admissions, transportation or additional supplies. No student will be required to participate in optional activities for which there is a cost, and marks will not be affected by non-participation in those activities.

Examples of possible optional fees could include:

• Art: purchase of artist quality supplies for personal use
• Shop: purchase of fine quality wood beyond what the shop can supply
• College Courses: the cost of text books
• The cost of optional field trips

The Gulf Islands School of Performing Arts is a tuition-based program. Students who are successful in the audition are required to pay the fee. There is a payment plan available. See the GISPA website for details.
