Interim reports are coming home this week. Please sign and return the accompanying letter to acknowledge that you received it. As always, I'm happy to meet to discuss your child's progress so far and how we can support them.

Unit 1 Math Assessment will be attached to the interim. Resources are available on the math page of the website to help with skills and concepts that have not yet been mastered. Students will continue to see these topics during warm-ups, in their Skill Builders, and during our "What Do You Know About..." check-ins.

We Scare Hunger Food Drive: thank you to all the families who have already donated. So far, we have 42 items. I have told the kids that I will match whatever our final count is at the end of the day on Thursday. Friday is the last day to bring in donations.

Math Skill Builders: Each student has been given a package of 10 Skill Builders that are matched to their current skill level. The front focuses on estimation and computation, while the back reviews & previews concepts covered in class. Students are expected to complete one Skill Builder each week (on To-Do List). They must also do corrections on previous Skill Builders before they are "done" for the week. Students are welcome to take them home to work on, but they should return to school each day.
