DRAMA AND THEATRE

Musical Theatre performs a musical for parents and the surrounding community. Past performances include Music Man, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie, Freaky Friday, and Legally Blonde. Students from all areas and levels of experience join together through musical theatre. On stage and off, the Reynolds Theatre students always come together and put on a great show. Interested in joining the cast or crew? Auditions are held in the fall and the performance usually runs for at least a week in late February, early March. This year's musical was The Wedding Singer.

Drama 9 is a great opportunity for students to explore many aspects of theatre. Movement, improvisation, mime, interpretation of music, role-play, video work, script writing and analysis, and character development are some of the topics student will experience. Much of this work will require group work, so students must be prepared to work cooperatively
