In our classroom we are focusing the journey of learning rather than the destination.
This means having a Growth Mindset. If you haven't heard this term before it is a way of thinking that enables people to challenge themselves leading to improved learning, kindness towards others, higher frustration tolerances when meeting a hard task, and the ability to learn from mistakes.
Growth Mindset is a way of thinking that can be hard to achieve if the person has been practicing a Fixed Mindset for a while. It is something that I as a teacher can model and teach, it is also something you as a parent can foster.
