The purpose of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to learn a variety of different outdoor activities and skills that they can use throughout their lifetime. The course will emphasize respect for the environment and safety in all activities. The following units MAY be included in this course: Fishing, knot tying, CPR, Wilderness 1st aid, Hiking, Backpacking, Survival, Fire starting, Ocean/tides, Ski, Snowboard, Wax, Climbing, Avalanche, Forecast, Beacons, Quinzee, Communication, Cooperation, NASP(Archery), Compass, Maps, Disc Golf, River Trips, Swiftwater Rescue
