Glacier's new block of classes combining Environmental Science / English / and Outdoor Pursuits - this class is open for juniors or seniors who are interested in learning about and experiencing the rich outdoor offerings of our local surroundings.  Trips include: Fishing, Hiking, Skiing, Rafting, Climbing along with learning from local experts about the wonders of our section of NW Montana.

Books & readings include:  A River Runs Through It,  Aldo Leopold's Sand County Almanac,  Walden,  Poems of Mary Oliver, Into The Wild/Into Thin Air, The Road,  Where The Deer and the Antelope Play, short stories by Hemingway, London and many others.
