Students will be completing the course selection process during the months of January-March.

Information about this process will be presented to students during the school day at various times between end of January and middle of February. 

Students who missed the course selection presentation in class should review these slides (Gr 10/11) or these slides (Grade 9) and watch this video to enter their course requests.  The deadline for this is Tuesday, February 17th.

If you are unable to attend, you can read the slides when they are posted below after the meeting takes place.

General Course Selection Timeline:

January / February 2026

Students:

•  learn about the Grad Program including courses that are required to graduate

• learn about the courses offered at WSS and complete a course request form

• review the course request form with their families

• students enter their course request forms into the computer system (MyEdBC)

March-May 2026

School administration will build a timetable using the student course requests.  This process takes 8 weeks or more.  

June 2026

School timetable is finalized and students receive their personal timetables for next year based on requests and availability.   Priority given to graduating students first.  Students then receive their timetables for next year. Changes can be requested but not guaranteed.
