Course Scheduling Structure

All courses at SSA run on a full- year schedule from September to June, adhering to the Sea to Sky School District 48 calender. Students participate in four classes daily, rotating between each to meet course time requirements. 80 minute blocks are allotted to each class, with opportunities for regular breaks and movement. 

For students who are cross-enrolled at Howe Sound Secondary, they participate in one to three courses per semester within the regular timetable, attending each course daily for 80 minutes. The schedule follows a four-week rotation, where the order of blocks shifts each week. After four weeks, the rotation restarts. The majority of courses will be delivered through this model.
