Listening to reading is especially valuable for those whose comprehension level exceeds reading ability, those who are learning reading, and those who are inexperienced readers. Students should listen to reading each day and can choose to listen from one of the following links. Students in grades 4-6 also benefit greatly from being read out loud to by an adult family member. When students listen to reading from an adult, they can discuss story vocabulary and connections.
