K-9 Learning Menu

These pages provide activities for students to continue their learning in Literacy, Numeracy and Competency Development. Students can spend time working on developing their core skills of Language arts and Numeracy, and also delve into exploring topics that expand a learner's sense of curiosity and wonder, no matter the learner's age. Literacy and Numeracy - Time Suggestion (dependent on child's abilities and needs)

K-3: No more than an hour a day of screen on these activities. Additional off screen time at parents' discretion.

4-9: Up to two hours a day of screen time on these activities. Additional off screen time at parents' discretion.

Curiosity and Wonder - Time Suggestion

K-9: The amount of time students should spend on developing their core competencies depends on each child and their stamina for learning time each day. The "Curiosity and Wonder" page provides more information on Competency development and suggestions for students.
