Considerations

  • What is the level of understanding of assessment purposes in your school? (What conversations can you have early in the year to create a shared understanding?)

  • Identify the assessment practices in your school and what ProD and supports are needed at any given time in the school year.

  • Make sure teachers have access to the assessments needed (convenience is important -ex. not having to share one PM box)

  • How can you get creative on supporting workload, recognizing assessment takes time but is also part of the job?

  • Determine what other school-wide data you collect (Connections, Wellness, Critical thinking etc.)

  • What do you need support with to have a better understanding of assessment tools used in our district?
