Welcome to Let’s Connect, our official District 44 newspaper dedicated to celebrating student and staff success, sharing updates, and strengthening the connection between our schools, families, and community.

Each edition highlights the people, programs, and progress that make our district an exceptional place to learn and grow. Whether it’s showcasing classroom innovations, spotlighting student voices, or providing behind-the-scenes stories from across our schools, Let’s Connect helps keep you informed and inspired.

Family & Student Participation Opportunities

• Coloring Contest: Color the pizza and pizza oven in the paper and submit it. Winners for each grade level will be selected and receive a Billy Brick's gift card.

• Community Poll: Participate in our community poll! Scan the QR code in the paper or go to this link to participate.

• Connection Coupon: Fill out the coupon in the paper and submit it for a chance to win a gift card.

• Cute & Cuddly Critters Challenge: Take a picture of a live critter at the zoo, at the park, at home, or even on a trail! Bonus if you get in the picture too! Submit the photo to this Google Form. 

• Family Photo Challenge: Take a family group shot or a selfie of you enjoying a meal from El Famous Burrito!  BONUS: Enjoy a 20% Discount all summer long when you use the code "Photo44" in person or online. Share your photo here!

• Forever Young Baby Picture Challenge: View photos of D44 staff and current Beacon Hill residents. Try to match them with their baby pictures!

• Kindness Korner: Submit acts of kindness anytime (QR code stays live all year; Google Form link).

• Let’s Make Cents Together: Complete the Financial Questions (primary, intermediate, or advanced) and turn it in via digital form or school newspaper mailbox!

• Spotlight Shout Outs: Send a shout out to one of our spotlighted friends using this Google Form.
