  • How do I apply to be part of the program?

Fill out the form on the Sign Up page to notify us of your interest. We will send an email by end May 2020 with a common application for the preschool seats participating with the American Falls Preschool Collaborative. Once you apply with us, we will be in touch with you about your specific needs, program preferences, etc. Easy!

  • How does my preschooler qualify for a scholarship?

If you are interested in a scholarship, please contact us. There will be a separate application process for scholarships that will include a meeting with Tennille Call, the Community Preschool Coordinator. If your student is awarded a scholarship, you will be notified, and the scholarship will be paid to the preschool that your child is attending.

  • Is this a new preschool being created in American Falls?

No. We are excited and lucky to have wonderful preschools already existing in American Falls that we are working with for this new initiative.

  • I have a preschool that I really like, will my child be able to attend this preschool?

Preschool choice always has been and still is a parent’s choice! We understand that some families already have relationships with specific preschools and we are happy to help you continue that connection.

  • Why don't I see our preschool on the list?

For preschool programs to receive the funding from the Preschool the Idaho Way Grant, they each had to opt in and are required to meet specific criteria. Our four partner programs participating are working through these requirements and are currently the only four eligible. .

  • I run a preschool program in American Falls that isn’t part of your four current partner preschools. I’d love to work with the collaborative, is this an option?

Any American Falls preschool program is welcome to work with us! We have several ways in which we can support and work with other providers. Contact us for more information if you are interested.
