Meet the LMC Staff!

I am so excited to return to district 308 as your child’s teacher in the Learning Center this year!

Several years ago, I was the Head Teacher in a Montessori Lower Elementary classroom with a mix of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. For the past 5 years, I have been working at the junior high level teaching math, language arts, and science! I even worked as an assistant at Plank Junior High! My love of reading and learning new things led me to pursue my master’s degree in Information Science and Technology from the University of Illinois. After all, it’s never too late to learn a new skill!

While I currently live in Warrenville with my husband, Dan, I grew up in east Aurora, near Montgomery. I love the fact that I am able to give back to the community in which I grew up. In our free time, my husband and I enjoy hiking, working out, reading, visiting with our friends and family, and watching movies.

I can’t wait to get to know you better throughout this year and the years to come and show you all of the marvelous ways you can find the answers you seek!
