Educational Websites for Both Kids and Parents

The following websites contain helpful information on improving math and reading skills. Check them out! (Please be sure to preview the sites before your child uses them independently!)

For Parents:

  • This is the official website of the Post Falls School District. You can check activity calendars for each of the schools, read the latest district news, or locate email addresses for the district staff.

  • This website is sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics for parents. It provides information on topics including child development, health, safety, and family issues.

For Kids:

  • This website is full of free worksheets you can download on all kinds of subjects. (You will need to create a username and password.) This site does have a lot of ads, so be sure to talk to your children about internet safety and "cookies."

  • Another website with free worksheets and drills for all age groups in many subjects, including math and reading.

  • A website devoted to math worksheets - for all abilities and ages.

  • This site has sections for kids to practice math skills as well as a great parent section on ideas to help with math homework. There's even a section on helping kids with test anxiety!

  • A site with lots and lots of games on math, reading, grammar, and more!

  • Educational Games for Kids all subjects and for all age groups.

  • PBS Kids variety of educational games for all age groups .

  • ABCYA a variety of educational games for all grade levels.

  • National Geographic for kids is a science related educational website.
