Awaken is intentionally designed for learners seeking an alternative to conventional education. Success in the program depends on active participation, personal responsibility, and a willingness to engage in experiential and place-based learning.

Students who thrive at Awaken are prepared to:

Awaken may not be the right fit for learners seeking a primarily classroom-based, teacher-directed educational experience. Our program is best suited to students who are motivated by authentic learning experiences and are willing to actively contribute to their own growth and the wellbeing of the learning community.

We accept applications for learners who will be entering grades 7, 8 & 9 in September.

Awaken consists of learners in grades 7 - 12, and is a program of choice that learners can remain in from their year of entry through to graduation.
