Awaken Education was created as a way to step outside the box of standardized education. Our program is rooted in relationship, community, and inquiry. We are guided by place & nature-based educational pedagogy, and honour the ways of being within the First Peoples Principles of Learning. 

We are a collaborative program, placing value in our learners' voices. Therefore, learners at Awaken are fully engaged in their educational process. Our program is co-created with our learners, for our learners.

Awaken fosters creativity by empowering learners to explore their interests, ask meaningful questions, and engage with the world through curiosity, imagination, and experiences. Learning alongside community, place, and the more-than-human world inspires students to create, innovate, and express themselves with confidence and purpose.
