ICAFS Fisheries High School Scholarship- $750
This scholarship, which was first awarded in 2007, is intended to continue the Idaho Chapter's legacy of fostering the development of fish and aquatic professionals and is awarded annually to an undergraduate student attending any school in Idaho. This scholarship is funded by the Idaho Chapter.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to students that are:
Enrolled in an Idaho high school, obtaining an ID GED, or Idaho residents not yer attending college
Have a cumulative school GPA of at least 3.0
Plan to attend a college or university located in Idaho

Are enrolled as an undergraduate student at any Idaho college or university on January 31 of the year that the scholarship is awarded or are/or have been involved with the Idaho Chapter including the student units.
Have professional goals that support the mission of the American Fisheries Society Selection Criteria (not in order of relevance):
1. Professional goals
2. Course work completed
3. GPA
4. Involvement in the American Fisheries Society
5. Work experience with fish or aquatics
6. Letter of recommendation from a biology professor, faculty advisor, school administrator, or supervisor Preference will be given to students who are or have been involved with the Idaho Chapter including the student units.

Idaho Fraternal Order of Police Foundation Scholarship
The Idaho State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police Board of Directors created the Idaho Fraternal Order of Police Foundation which has established scholarships to be used at Colleges and Universities throughout the United States to assist academic students who are dependents of the members of this organization. The award for each scholarship will be determined by the Board up to $1000.
Eligibility
Must be a dependent of a member of the Idaho Fraternal Order of Police who has been in good standing within the last year.
The definition of dependent is any spouse, child, stepchild or child, under the legal guardianship of an FOP member.
Must be a current registered full-time student (12 credits minimum each semester).
Please attach proof of enrollment.
Must be a U.S. citizen and an Idaho resident.
Must be entering as a college sophomore or higher. First-time applicants will be given first preference.
Applicants who will be or are receiving full-ride athletic or scholastic grants-in-aid cannot apply.
Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 accumulated grade point average.
Attach a copy of the transcript.
Continuing university or college applicants placed on disciplinary probation prior to receiving the scholarship will forfeit the award.
The recipient will be expected to maintain full-time student status for the award period.
Applicants will attach a headshot photo as well as a one-page essay to this application, outlining their academic goals and objectives and how the award of this scholarship will assist them in meeting their future challenges.

Scholarship Qualifications

Idaho Power Company Memorial Scholarship Fund
Created to memorialize the lives of former Idaho Power employees Douglas E. Sprenger, Kevin M. Whittier and Larry R. Wimer, this scholarship is open to 1) graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in an engineering program at an accredited Idaho college; OR 2) college students of any level enrolling in a natural resources program at an accredited Idaho college.

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship- up to $3,500/year - Open Oct 1
Recognizing the need for a well-educated workforce, Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter and the Idaho Legislature established the Opportunity Scholarship to remove barriers to higher education and prepare college/university graduates to enter the workforce. The Opportunity Scholarship awards eligible applicants up to $3,500 per academic year and is renewable for up to four years.
The scholarship funds are available per school year. Recipients must renew each year and are eligible to receive the scholarship for a maximum of four years.

Have an unweighted, cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above
Be an Idaho resident
Graduated or will graduate from an Idaho high school or its equivalent or Idaho home school (GED/HSE from Idaho)

Idaho Governor's Cup- $3,000/year
The Idaho Governor’s Cup was established in 1974 by then-Governor Cecil Andrus. It is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to help Idaho kids pursue their higher education goals at our state postsecondary institutions.
Depending on funding, the Idaho Governor’s Cup Scholarship provides approximately 25 awards to Idaho high school or home school seniors planning to attend an Idaho college or university. Funds are awarded to students pursuing academic or career technical education. This is a $3,000 award, renewable up to four years for academic programs and up to three years for career technical programs.
Eligibility
Be a resident of Idaho
Be a graduating senior of an Idaho high school or home school, or a first year student in a CTE program
Enroll as a full-time student in an academic or technical program at an Idaho college or university
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Attend the first semester of college following graduation
Write a 500-word personal essay about your goals and interests
High consideration for selection will be based on a demonstrated commitment to public service. Documentation of volunteer work, leadership, and public service is required

Alois & Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship
The Alois and Marie Goldmann Scholarship was established in 1997 by Mary and George Freund in honor of George’s grandparents who perished at the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote a greater understanding of the Holocaust among high school students in Idaho.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be a student graduating from high school or home school within the state of Idaho.
• Must be attending an institution of higher learning in Idaho during the coming Fall.

Farm Bureau - State Scholarship Turned Into Local Office First
Scholarships are available to select individuals of Idaho Farm Bureau families for one year of higher education at an institution of their choice. Over $130,000 was awarded across the state to Idaho Farm Bureau students last year. Scholarships are limited to one per recipient. Complete and return the application to your county Farm Bureau office for verification of membership.

Horatio Alger State Scholarship - For High School Juniors
State scholarships are awarded to eligible students in all fifty states and the District of Columbia. The program specifically assists high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. The scholarships are funded by Horatio Alger Members who, like the Scholars, have experienced challenges but ultimately overcame them to become successful business and civic leaders. Basic Eligibility: 2.0 GPA, $65,000 or lower adjusted family gross income, US Citizen, be involved in co-curricular and community service, looking to complete bachelor's degree.

IDAHO TRAPPERS ASSOCIATION - CONANT FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Idaho Trappers Association (ITA) was founded in 1979 to promote sound conservation, legislation, and administrative procedures to save and faithfully defend from waste the natural resources of Idaho; to promote sound environmental education programs; and to promote a continued annual fur harvest using the best tools presently available for that purpose. ITA's priority objective is to educate young trappers in the harvesting and management of Idaho's resource and to better educate the public on the consumptive use of wild animals as a necessary wildlife management tool. ITA is also a supporter of the National Trappers Association and helps to defend and promote the safe and ethical harvest of furbearing animals and to the preservation and enhancement of their habitats.
Tim Conant and his family have been staunch supporters of the ITA for many years. Tim Conant is a long-time outdoorsman and has dedicated many hours promoting and educating the public on how to minimize conflict between outdoor user groups. ITA is sponsoring this scholarship as recognition of Tim and his family’s hard work and dedication to ITA’s mission.

Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship
For graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students attending or planning to attend a public or private, two- or four-year college or university in the state of Idaho and majoring or planning to major in Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics. Or for any student who is also a current Wildland Firefighter majoring in any subject. Minimum 2.5 GPA

Yvonne & Dick Lierz Scholarship
For students who have made significant contributions to their community through community service enrolling in their first or second year at a public Idaho or Nevada university.
Eligibility
Enrolling in the upcoming year as a first or second year undergraduate student at any public Idaho or Nevada institution of higher learning.
• Demonstrated volunteer involvement in at least one charitable activity benefiting the community.
• While grades, activities, and recommendations are important, if an applicant's cumulative grade point is below 2.8 they will be seriously considered only if they are able to convince the Scholarship Selection Committee of a high desire to advance their education.

Mike Crapo Math & Science Scholarship
For full-time first year students majoring in math, science, or engineering at a four-year college or university in the state of Idaho.
Eligibility
• Resident of Idaho;
• Majoring in math or science (including but not limited to the area of engineering).
• Enrolling as a full-time student at the freshman level (first year) at a public or private four-year college or university in the state of Idaho.
• Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above for all class work prior to the application;
• Awarded primarily on the basis of a sincere desire for further education or training, and individual achievement as evidenced through the student’s academic record, participation in outside activities, leadership roles and/or work experience.

Larry J. May Hospitality Management Scholarship
For full-time students enrolled in a degree-seeking program related to the hospitality industry, including hotel/lodging, food service/restaurant, entertainment/golf club, resort, and the travel/tourism industries.
Eligibility
Resident of Idaho; Enrolled and/or accepted as a fulltime or part-time student in a degree-seeking program related to the hospitality industry at an accredited public or private college or university.
• Preference given to full-time students, but part time students will not be immediately disqualified. • Hospitality-related programs include (but are not limited to) hotel/lodging, food service/restaurant, entertainment/golf club, resort, and the travel/tourism industries.
• Awarded primarily on the basis of a student's sincere desire for further education or training, and individual achievement as evidenced through participation in outside interests and activities, leadership roles and/or work experience. GPA or academic standing will not be the primary determinant

Idaho Nursing and Health Professions Scholarship
Student accepted into an Idaho accredited nursing or health professions program, including but not limited to respiratory therapy, physical therapy, etc.;
• Demonstrated financial need as documented on the standard FAFSA report;

2024 Frontier Credit Union Scholarship (Formerly EICU)
Every year Frontier Credit Union gives out scholarships to hard working students in our community. The purpose of this scholarship program is one $2500 and ten $1,000 scholarships to Frontier Credit Union members to aid them in their pursuit of higher education.
Eligibility
Must be a member of Frontier Credit Union with an account in your name
Must provide verification of acceptance to school before scholarship funds are disbursed
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater
Must be a graduating high school senior and plan to attend an accredited college, university or technical school in the United States as a full-time student (Funds can be held if student is planning a gap year or service opportunity before enrolling in college).

Westmark Credit Union Scholarship- $2,500
Westmark will award fifteen $2,500 Scholarships in 2023. These Scholarships will be awarded by established regions. Scholarships are available only to members of Westmark Credit Union who have a minimum of $25 in their Westmark Account.
In order to be eligible the following criteria must be met:
1- 2023 High School Graduate
2- Attend a State Accredited or Licensed Post-Secondary School (any state)
3- Use scholarship funds in the summer or fall of 2023 (check will be made out to the school listed on the application)
4-GPA of at least 3.50
All applications must be received by Westmark Credit Union no later than March 22, 2024 and be completed in their entirety. All applicants must use Westmark’s Scholarship Application Form. Scholarship winners will be notified no later than May 3, 2024.

No Greater Love Aviation Scholarship-$2000
Formed to honor the memory of local Idaho Army aviators who were killed in the line of duty.
Requirements:
High School Student aged 16 to 19
Enrolled or ability to enroll in aviation training and use scholarship in 2023.

ISU ROAD SCHOLARSHIP
Many Fremont County Students who have applied to this scholarship have received it. They are awarded in-person at each years school awards assembly.
Requirements:
Registered ISU Student with access to BOSS (Bengal Online Scholarship System)
Graduate of Southeast Idaho High School and Idaho Resident
Minimum 2.0 GPA with Preference to 2.5 GPA and above.
Attend ISU Full-time in upcoming Fall Semester as a new incoming Freshman.

Jackson Companies Scholarship
Applicants must be the child or dependent of an active, full-time Jackson Companies employee at the time of application. Child or dependent is defined as a son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, or child whom the Jackson Companies employee has custody and support.
Eligibility
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or higher from high school or an accredited postsecondary institution using an unweighted standard 4.0 scale.
• Must be a United States citizen or legal resident.
• Preference may be given to students who demonstrate a greater financial need.

Tools for the Trade Scholarship
The Tools of the Trade $1,000 scholarship was established to provide funding for Idaho students pursuing certificates or degrees in career and technical education programs at Idaho technical colleges. The intent of this scholarship is to offset the costs of purchasing required equipment/tools/software as determined by the specific program selected by the student. Any student who plans to enroll in an approved career and technical education program at the postsecondary level that requires occupational tools/equipment/software is eligible for this scholarship.

Anne Vesth Memorial Continuing Postsecondary Education Scholarship
The $2,500 Anne Veseth Continuing Postsecondary Memorial Scholarship was established to encourage Idaho students pursuing first certificates or degrees in career and technical education at Idaho technical colleges. This competitive scholarship is available to students who are currently enrolled in an approved Idaho Career Technical Education program at the postsecondary level.

Neptune Lynch IX First-Year Postsecondary Scholarship
The $2,500 Neptune Lynch IX First Year Postsecondary Scholarship was established to encourage Idaho students pursuing their first-year towards a certificate or degree in career technical education at one of Idaho's technical colleges. This competitive scholarship is available to students who plan to enroll in an approved Idaho Career Technical Education program at the postsecondary level.

IDAHO HORSE COUNCIL
The Idaho Horse Council, a non-profit association, is composed of organizations across the state involved in the equine industry. In 1999, the council’s Board of Directors voted to fund up to three scholarships annually. Scholarships are being offered for the current school year for graduates of Idaho High Schools.

WHAT IS LAUNCH?
Idaho LAUNCH is an education and training program that provides students a one-time opportunity to have 80% of the tuition and fees at an eligible institution covered, up to a maximum amount of $8,000

Be a graduate (class of 2024) from an Idaho high school, home school, or GED
Be an Idaho resident
Be enrolled in or have applied to an eligible Idaho institution
Begin Enrollment by Fall semester after graduation

Pay it Forward Scholarship- $750
For this scholarship, do something good for someone else and include a note telling them to pass it on. Bonus points are awarded for including pictures. We want to hear what good deed you did to help your community.
After you have finished your good deed, pass along this scholarship to as many friends as you can. For every submission we get that says you referred/told them about this scholarship, you get bonus points. (Feel free to post the scholarship on your Facebook page to spread the word.)
Once your good deed is finished and you have told all of your friends about this scholarship, play the Pointe Pest Control game and take a screenshot of your highest score. Bonus points are added to your application for playing the game.

Idaho Grower Shippers Association Scholarship
To Qualify:
Strong preference is given to applicants who are personally or whose mother, father, or legal guardian is employed by an Idaho potato grower, shipper, marketer, or processor.
Applicants must be college committed to pursue a higher education degree (Associate, Bachelor or Graduate Degree) or Technical Certificate.
Additional consideration will be allocated to those applicants pursuing a major in Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Applicants can reapply so long as they have not previously received an IGSA Scholarship award.

The student must complete the 2024 Scholarship Application Form and send it to the IGSA office by no later than May 31, 2024. Letters of recommendation and the student's transcript should also be sent to the IGSA office. IGSA's mailing address is PO Box 51100, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83405. Idaho Post Secondary Scholarship (This program will phase out after the 23-24 award cycle)
Merit-based award
Award available for students with ten (10) or more postsecondary credits at time of high school graduation and a matching industry merit based scholarship
Eligibility
Attending or graduating from an accredited Idaho high school (or equivalent) starting in the spring of 2016
Has earned ten (10) or more postsecondary semester credits at the time of graduation from high school or graduated from high school with an associate degree
Has obtained a matching academic scholarship that is merit-based from a business or industry, or entities representing business or industry. Merit-based is defined as a competitive scholarship in which academic achievement at the high school level is a minimum eligibility requirement and awards are made based on the achievement of the student.
Must attend an eligible Idaho college or university

Armed Forces/Public Safety Officer Dependent Scholarship
For a child of a military member or public safety officer, the student must:
Be an Idaho resident.
Be a graduate from an Idaho high school or its equivalent (GED from Idaho).
Enroll as a student in an academic or professional-technical program at North Idaho College, Lewis-Clark State College, College of Southern Idaho, College of Eastern Idaho, University of Idaho, Boise State University, Idaho State University or College of Western Idaho.
Be a child already born, or born after a military member or public safety officer is determined to be imprisoned or missing in action, or is killed or becomes totally and permanently disabled.
