This is a play posit video we will use as homework. It goes over different skills and concepts we use in Physical Education.
This is what the gym looks like on a basketball game day. We have competitive game play, non-competitive game play and skill stations set up. The skill stations below consist of shooting, passing and dribbling. Each student participates in what they are comfortable with based on their self-assessment of their skills.
For all passes make sure you step towards your teammate.
If you are recieving the pass, have your hands up ready to catch the ball.
Bounce Pass
Keep the ball at your chest and pass off the ground 3/4 of the way between you and your partner.
Chest Pass
Pass the ball from chest to chest.
When shooting a Right Handed Lay-up foot work should be step left, right, plant left foot. The right knee and right elbow go up with the ball. You aim for the upper right hand corner of the box on the backboard.
When shooting a Left Handed Lay-up foot work should be step right, left, plant right foot. The left knee and left elbow go up with the ball. You aim for the upper left hand corner of the box on the backboard.
