Class Description:

Indiana History is a semester course that is based on the Indiana standards. As you complete this course, you will gain an appreciation for the state of Indiana. We will be highlighting the role Indiana Hoosiers played during different time periods of United States history from before the American Revolution to the modern era. We will also examine the local history of Whiting and Northwest Indiana communities such as Gary, Hammond, East Chicago, Griffith, etc.
