Etwinning application:

"This is me. What about you?" (age 8-10)

In this project the pupils will learn how to describe themselves and the places they live, learning valuable concepts and skills that integrate with several subjects (technology, citizenship, art, English, mother tongue, etc.).

WORK PLAN

Mod 1, October: introductions

•  getting to know each other: short introductions via messages exchange and padlet

•  project logo creation

•  webinar.

Mod 2, November: the countries in the partnership

•  classroom poster-map with the twinned countries and some infos about them

•  learning about the twinned countries

•  collective activities (quizzes, challenges, etc.) to plan

•  webinar.

Mod 3: - December: Christmas traditions in the partnered counties and wishes exchange

•  how Christmas is celebrated in the partnered counties (padlet)

•  Exchanging Christmas wishes using recycled paper and materials: collective photo-video

•  collective activities (quizzes, challenges, etc.) to plan

•  webinar.

Mod 4: January- February: our favourite activities, sports and hobbies

•  Describing the activities, sports and hobbies that are available to the pupils in their towns and villages

•  carrying out a survey about one’s favourite activities, sports and hobbies

Mod 5: February-March: our favourite school subjects

•  Describing the schools, the subject, the activities, etc. and learning about the school systems in the partnership

•  carrying out a survey about one’s favourite school subjects

•  collective activities (quizzes, challenges, etc.) to plan

•  webinar.

Mod 6: April-May

•  conclusion and farewell activities

•  project evaluation: pupils’ and teachers’ self-evaluation (questionnaire/survey: strong and weak points, hint for improvement and replicability of the project)

•  dissemination activities.
