Strongsville City Schools started providing Chromebooks to students in 2016. In the Fall of 2019, the district was able to supply every student between 1st Grade to 12th Grade a Chromebook. Starting in August 2020, Strongsville City Schools will be 1 to 1 for every student between Kindergarten and 12th grade.
Students in Grades 6-12 must complete the Digital Citizenship & Chromebook Care Google Classroom course prior to receiving a Chromebook. Please visit your building's Media Center for the class codes.
Parents/Guardians of students in Grades 6-12 must approve or reject the district's Accidental Insurance Policy in their online registration forms. The fee is $30 and a description of the policy can be found in their respective 1 to 1 Student Chromebook Handbook.
