Save a source

- Anytime you're searching online and find an article you'd like to save in Scrible, click on the Scrible icon* in the browser.
- The source is saved in My Library and the extension toolbar appears.
- Now, we can take advantage of the toolbar functions for the Basic plan.
If the Scrible Extension Toolbar doesn't load on the page of a previously saved source, try refreshing the page.

If you are having trouble saving a new source, copy the URL into another tab and click the Scrible extension from the new tab.

The Scrible Extension's Toolbar and Sidebar load when an online source is saved to Scrible.
Both the toolbar and the sidebar can be repositioned easily.

Hover over the library icon to see which library the article is saved in.

Click the arrow to the right to move/copy the article to another library.

Most Scrible Basic users will primarily use the library My Library.

If a Scrible user with an upgraded account shares a library with a user with a Basic account, the shared library is visible in the library sidebar and sources can be moved/copied/saved there as well, based on the library settings chosen by the owner.

To close out the toolbar for this Scrible session, click on the X in the toolbar to the far right. The source and annotations remain in the Scrible Library.
You will be redirected back to the original URL, although there are exceptions.
