Food needs to be cooked over a fire in a camp oven, on a camp stove or over the BBQ. We need to make sure that we have all the equipment such as pots and pans and spoons and containers to serve the food in.
Weather also needs to be taken into account and also location. It is not a great idea to have salad when you are at the snow in winter. Eat the fresh food first and have tinned or dried food that will keep longer on the other days.
Cooking at camp always needs to be simple but with good ingredients. You always need to have plenty of food as being outdoors and hiking and doing active things takes up a lot of energy. You also need to be mindful of others allergies or religious belief's.
