Have you ever wondered what that purple badge on your uniform means? It’s World Scout Badge, and is worn by every Scout in the world - all 57 million of us!
Scouts from 172 countries come together to form the World Organization of the Scout Movement (or WOSM). The newest member of WOSM is the Solomon Islands, which is very close to Australia
The challenge:
Pick a country and learn some interesting facts about its Scouts
Add your facts here [insert link: https://padlet.com/girrawahbirralee/ejhyvq14bpfzvl9q] - click on the pink plus sign, use the search box to find your country, then add your fun facts where it says ‘Write something incredible…’
For a further challenge:
Learn about one of the six WOSM regions (Africa, Arab, Asia-Pacific, Eurasian, European, or Intreramerican)
Learn about a WOSM event (World Scout Jamboree, World Scout Moot, World Scout Youth Forum) or regional event (Asia-Pacific Region Scout Jamboree, Africa Rover Moot)

What Shadow Monsters can you make?
Make up the primary colours of water - you could use food colouring or water paints or event cordial. Put each colour into a different container. What colours can you make by placing one inside the other. Do you know what the technical term for the movement of water is? ....it is called displacement.
On your walk you might like to collect some natural items from the ground and create a picture.
