At the starting point, walk up the hill in the direction of Tai Tong Nursery. There are big trees to shade this section of the road, and you will soon reach the branch road in front of the Sweet Gum Woods. Then follow the direction of Tai Lam Nature Education Trail to enter MacLehose Trail. On the mountainside section of the road, you can see the beautiful scenery of the Thousand Island Lake composed of multiple small islands in the Tai Lam Chung Reservoir. After falling down the mountain, follow the catchwater channel to Tuen Mun. There are various fitness facilities on the way. Finally, pass Tseng Tau Tsuen to the end of MacLehose Trail.
