Departing from Pokfulam Reservoir Road, passing by the Public Riding School and Pokfulam Reservoir, along the way, there are unbelieving signs introducing the history of Pokfulam Reservoir; after passing the country park management station, turn left and go up the stairs to access Hong Kong Island through the Pokfulam Family Path On the first section of the trail, follow the signs to the West Mountain Observation Deck. After arriving at the West Alpine Observation Deck, you can take a break and overlook the beautiful scenery of the western part of Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island, Tsing Ma Bridge, etc., continue along the first section of Hong Kong Island Trail to the east until you reach the intersection of Harley Road, Hatton Road and Lugard Road. Restrooms and recreational facilities are available for rest. Finally, follow the signs to the Peak Tram Station via Lugard Road. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Stonecutters Island, Hong Kong Island and Western Kowloon. However, please note that many tourists pass by this section and avoid blocking the road. After reaching the top of the mountain, walk a short distance forward, and you will arrive at the lion pavilion at the end. This is the famous place to watch the Victoria Harbour. Don’t forget to take pictures!
