Starting from the starting point of the MacLehose Trail in Pak Tam Chung, there is no too difficult to climb the steep slope along the way, and you can jump to the High Island Reservoir on the left. It takes an hour to walk to West Dam, where there is a pavilion for rest and beautiful scenery, with a pond on the left and Chong Hing Water Sports Centre on the right.
After a break, head southwest to the Sheung Yiu trail, pass through the Po Kwu Wan campsite, and then head north back to Pak Tam Chung. The trail turns to the lower left seaside to reach Sheung Yiu Village. There is an antique village house, where you can visit the villagers who worked in agriculture for a living. In life, there is also an ancient lime kiln along the way. After the tour, there is a kiosk for refreshment supply when you walk out of the road, and there is a bus back to Sai Kung Town from the bus station.
