Discipline Plan
In order to provide the quality classroom environment that every student deserves, a classroom discipline plan will be in effect at all times. Please discuss the importance of the rules with your child. The discipline plan works best when students, teachers, and parents work cooperatively to support the plan.
Classroom Expectations
1. Listen and follow directions.
2. Respect yourself and others.
3. Complete and return all assignments on time.
Consequences
· Students will write their name in the Behavior Notebook when they choose not to meet with classroom expectations.
· Daily Consequences:
o First Time – Warning
o Second Time – Lunch Isolation
o Third Time – Contact Parents
o Fourth Time – Office Referral
· Weekly Consequences: Students who have written in the Behavior Book two or more times during the week or have incomplete assignments will lose part or all of their Reward Time on Friday.
Rewards
· Verbal Praise
· Weekly Reward Time (outside play, games, special activity)
