Lots of pencils

1 composition notebook (80-100 pages)

1 2-pocket folder

1 pack of college-ruled notebook paper

1 pack of highlighters (6 colors yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, orange)

1 pack of markers (student’s choice)

1 pack of colored pencils (student’s choice)

3 glue sticks

Please remember, that supplies run out during the year. I have no problem loaning supplies to students who need them, but quite often the supplies don't get returned. The main need is pencils. Tons and tons of pencils.

GRADING AND REPORT CARDS

At the start of each class, I will send home a syllabus for you to review, sign, and return. The syllabi are on the home page of this website as well. Students earn their own grades...I do not 'give' grades. I am flexible when students are showing effort, and I am more than happy to work one on one with any student who wants the extra help. I do not assign homework on a regular basis.

Gradebook Login - If you have trouble logging in, please call Scio Middle School (503-394-3271) for further help.

Parents: Did you know that you can set up the gradebook to automatically notify you of high/low grades, missing assignments, and attendance. Just open up the gradebook portal and click on the notifications button in the lower right corner (see below). Then you just have to choose which options you want.
