The moment you have been waiting for….Basketball season information.
CHSAA has identified the start of the season for boys and girls as Monday January 4th. The first games are scheduled for January 9th.
Here is how the process will go:
1. If you are interested in playing basketball for DSST – Boys must email Coach Soco at Socorro.Sandoval@live.com and girls email Coach Cheyenne at Yanceycl@outlook.com
2. Take a look at Big TEAMS/Planet High School to begin the registration process. The instructions are on the website. A Physical exam is required for practice and play.
3. We plan to have a Girl’s JV and Varsity and Boy’s C/JV and Varsity.
4. You will receive a workout from your coach that you can do on your own to get into shape.
5. DPS will let us know on December 1st about gym use. Stay tuned.
6. Tryouts will be held on Monday January 4th and let the season begin!!!
7. Fingers crossed that we can get into the gym and that we can start our season in January.
