Clear Creek Canyon, located west of Golden, is a closer option for those who don't want travel very far. It is home to, fly fishing, white water rafting, biking, hiking, and lots of climbing. Highway US 6 runs through the whole canyon and allows for easy access everywhere.
As the weather Starts to get warmer, we can all look forward too the higher hikes like Mount Evans. Evans is a 14er that can be biked, hiked and climbed. Make sure you check the weather before you head out so you don't get caught in a storm!
This State Park, located an hour from Denver, is a wonderful park to do all your outdoor activities including, hiking, climbing, biking, horseback riding, and camping. Make sure you have a states park pass or be ready to pay a 10$ entrance fee.
This town is home to many incredible activities that could keep you entertained for weeks. The most famous being Red Rocks, where you can go and see amazing concerts. This place has classic Rock Climbing near the town as well as hiking and biking trails near by.
While this isn't a location, this game will make you enjoy the outdoors while you play it. Spikeball is a very fun game that involves a ball, net and four players. Find a grassy park like Central Park, City Park, or Cramner Park and get spikin'!
Chautauqua Park is a great place to go for a daytrip. It is home to Boulder's iconic flatirons, which can be hiked up in the trials in the park. There miles of trials through out here and I highly recommend a hike around this area!
If you are looking to go skiing this winter Breck has it all. This mountain was a wide variety of slopes and terrain. Be careful, if you hit this resort on the wrong day, you will be spending more time in lines then skiing. If you are interested make sure you get a reservation before you go.
North Table Mountain is an awesome place to get out to during the winter. The mountain receives full sun every day and will make a 40 degree day feel like 70 degrees. A great place for climbing, hiking and mountain biking. Best part is it is only 30 minutes from Denver.-2/8/21
