Description
Drawing upon Rebecca Block's comparative analysis of tutoring methods, this conference presentation focused on how tutor/teacher-led read-alouds were ineffective, and out of the three pedagogical strategies analyzed, point and predict read-aloud sessions were found to be the most optimally effective for higher order thinking.
